DESCRIPTION: Inspired by the soft illuminating quality of deep sea creatures, the lamps are both soft to the touch and to the eye. Filifera is the result of Turkoglu’s experimenting with the translucent qualities of silicone. The material emits the light in a soft yellow glow and the cylindrical form of the lamps give an organic feeling to the light. Silicone ages in time, turning the lamp more yellow and adding to the quality of light.
